A quick guide to get you started with Randoms.
Download the app and sign up with your email or Google account. Choose a unique username — this is how people will find you.
Add a profile photo, write a bio, and customize your profile. Tap "Edit Profile" on your profile page to make changes.
Use the Search tab to find friends, creators, and topics you're interested in. Tap "Follow" to see their posts in your feed.
The plus button is at the bottom center of the screen. Tap it to start creating a new post.
Choose photos or videos from your gallery. You can select multiple items to create a carousel post. Tap and hold to reorder them.
Apply filters, crop, adjust brightness, or add text overlays to your media before posting.
Write a caption, add relevant hashtags (#) to help people discover your post, and optionally tag a location.
Set your audience (public, friends, or private), toggle comments on/off, and tap "Share" to publish.
When you see a video in your feed, swipe up to enter Cuts mode — a full-screen, endless stream of short videos.
Double-tap to like, tap the comment icon to view or add comments, and use the share button to send a cut to friends.
Tap the menu at the top to switch between "For You" (recommended cuts) and "Following" (cuts from people you follow).
Tap the messages icon in the bottom navigation bar to open your conversations.
Tap the new message icon, search for a user, and send them a message. You can also message from someone's profile.
Access all settings by tapping the settings icon on your profile or from the main settings menu. Here are the key sections:
Manage your email, password, phone number, linked accounts, and two-factor authentication.
Control who can see your posts, message you, comment, tag you, and find your profile in search.
Customize your feed layout, video quality, autoplay settings, captions, and content filters.
Choose which notifications you receive — likes, comments, follows, messages, and more.
